And where do you start with our story? Well at the beginning of course. On leaving the Royal Navy, Shawn worked in several managerial positions in warehousing and facilities industry. It was shortly after a long illness, that he found his passion for working with wood, therapy if you like. Working out of his back garden and 6x4 shed, he was making custom items for friends and family. It was then when one of his best customers and friend Kelly came along and offered a joint partnership. And that is the short of it really, Scotts Country was created. It was all a bit of a whirl wind for the next 3 months, we moved into a lovely little unit, purchased more suitable tools and machinery, stocked up on timber, health and safety regulations to meet and the most daunting bit of actually registering as a business with Companies House. That all happened in 2018. And we haven't looked back, we've had our starter troubles especially with the recent Coronavirus and courier issues, but we survived.
