Rustic Wooden Kent Style Bat Box

Our handmade wooden Kent Style Bat Boxes are made to specifications recommended by the Kent Bat Group. And has two openings for bats to fly in and roost.
 
Please note that we send these bat boxes out with two pieces of wood which need to be attached by yourselves with the screws provided. Then it is really up to you how you would like to attach them. Most people screw these by the battens to trees or high up on buildings.

These boxes are very popular with our conservation customers.

Installation Instructions
Each Bat Box comes with 2 x battens which will need to be attached to the back with the fittings supplied. Tools you will required include a screwdriver or electric screwdriver.
Once these have been attached then you can fix them direct to a post, tree or house. (Fittings not supplied) or you can lash them with string/rope to a tree.
 
And now the boring bit!!!
 
Please note that we use timber and as timber is a natural material we cannot guarantee that they are perfect, bear in mind that timber may have natural imperfections such as knots. We try to pick the best timber available for our projects.
 
All our timber is FSC Certified unless otherwise stated.

We have now changed our delivery courier and use DX Secure. This gives us and you the peace of mind that your parcel is tracked from start to finish. If you supply us with your mobile number or email, then you will receive messages letting your know when your package is due for delivery.
 
If you live within 20 miles of our workshop and if staffing allows we will deliver ourselves.
